Matcha is a Japanese green tea made from grinding dried leaves into a fine powder. Traditionally, it is whisked into hot water to form matcha tea, but lately it has become a popular choice at many coffee shops when made into matcha lattes.

This recipe combines the sweetness and subtle earthy notes of matcha powder, adds vodka, and tops it off with the peppery and warm flavors of ginger. The result of this is a fresh and sweet cocktail that is perfect for relaxing evenings or any time you want some a drink. We used Titos vodka, but this cocktail works perfectly with any neutral tasting vodka.

The fragrance of the matcha powder is apparent and the tang of the ginger ale creates a refreshing aftertaste. The warm flavors, delightful aroma, and unique color is sure to impress if you have company.
